  • How to optimize cost of cluster?

    • Best way is to monitor the status of the product from your sprngy profile under Manage Products->List Products tab. Using this you can start and stop your product instance. One other way is to setup auto start and auto stop based on the schedule. For this feature request, write it to support@sprngy.com.

  • Does AdminUI work same way on Cluster as Standalone?

    • Functionality wise, AdminUI works the same in Cluster and Standalone mode. The standalone mode is ideal for small to mid-size datasets (that also depends on the size of the product you have created.) while the cluster mode is ideal for large datasets. If you have more questions, then do not hesitate to write to sprngy@support.com with the information you need.

  4. One of my users has lost her password and can’t login. What’s the best way to get her a new password?

    • For now, just delete that user and  create a new user with a new password since forgot password functionality is not available or drop an email to support@sprngy.com for more information.

  5. Does Sprngy provide auto start/stop features so that I can optimize my cloud spend?

    • Yes, it does. Once a user signs up for Sprngy, then that user will get detailed information/ documentation on how to achieve that and For now, this is not available on portal. User needs to request this to support@sprngy.com
      Sprngy’s technical team works with the user if there is any based on the need.

  6. How can I change the auto start/stop timings? 

    • Once user signs up for the platform, user will need to request for access on cloud and documentation to change the timings by dropping an email to support@sprngy.com or by filling the details here

  7. Can I cancel/update the product right after creating it?

    • Once user upgrades the account, then right after creating the product, user won’t be able to update or cancel the product. There is a threshold of about 20 minutes. If you still find any issues then feel free to drop an email at support@sprngy.com or fill the details here

  8. What type of data does Sprngy manage?

    • Sprngy can manage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

  9. What are the different file formats Sprngy supports?

    • To bring data in Sprngy platform, it supports all different types of connectors to import the data from your source systems. One important thing to note here is that once the data is in Sprngy platform, the data is going to be saved as .parquet file format. 

  10. What is the size and mode when user starts trial on Sprngy?

    • The default size and mode is 4 CPUs,16 GB memory and Standalone respectively in free trial.

  11. What are the different sizes available on Sprngy portal?

  • As of now, Sprngy provided three different sizes available to end user

    • Extra Small (8 CPUs, 32 GB memory)

    • Small (16 CPUs, 64 GB memory)

    • Medium (32 CPUs, 128 GB memory)

  • In near future, we are extending it to two more sizes as following:

    • Large (48 CPUs, 192 GB memory)

    • Extra Large (64 CPUs, 256 GB memory)

  3. Can I bring my own Azure Subscription to use Sprngy?

    1. This feature is not available in this release. If someone wants to do this then they need to work with Sprngy for the customization and build an infrastructure in your own Azure Subscription.

  4. I have enjoyed the trial and I am ready to upgrade. What are the steps to upgrade?

    1. If you are happy with the product and want to continue then you don’t need to do anything. Once the trial period ends, it’s going to subscribe automatically for your desired plan. 

  5. How do I cancel my subscription?

    1. To cancel your subscription, you need to sign in and you will see the option to cancel the subscription under your profile.
